We want to say a huge thank you to the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery and the Postcode Neighbourhood Trust for awarding us funding to keep providing our vital services to the older ladies of the Park Ward area. This funding will allow us to continue to provide health and wellbeing services such as massage therapy and luncheon club, along with help and advice on living a better later life.

Check out our Diabetes Project promo video here. We are working with West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership, to promote awareness around Type 2 diabetes. We are offering advice and help with managing health, weight and T2 Diabetes, as well as promoting small lifestyle changes, fitness and a healthy diet to reduce the risk of developing T2 Diabetes. There are certain genetic factors such as sex and ethnicity, along with age that mean you are at a higher risk of developing T2 Diabetes, you can check your risk score here
